Pensioners will qualify for government subsidy STB because they earn less than R3200, they will have to give a proof that they are pensioners.

Step 1:

For Government Subsidy Set Top Box Application go to your nearest Post Office and bring the following documents.

• -  Payslip (not older than 3 months - with a salary of R3200 and less)
• -  Proof of Residence (not older than 3 months)
• -  South African ID

Step 2:

The Post Office Consultant captures the following information

• -  Personal Details
• -  Set Top Box type (DTT / DTH)
• -  Subsidy Amount
• -  Sequential Distribution Number
• -  Proof of Residence (not older than 3 months)

Step 3:

 Applicant / Customer receives an SMS to collect the Set Top Box at their nearest Post Office.

Step 4:

Collect your DTT Set Top Box at your nearest Post Office.

Install the Set Top Box or call an accredited installer and use the voucher.
